Ally and Parker Randels haven’t been in town for long, but they have made a huge impression on our community already and we are so glad they’re here!

Ally Randels is an energetic child, teen, and adult therapist serving Oklahomans and hoping to have licensure in Oregon soon. Working for her own teletherapy private practice, Therapy With Ally, Ally is able to bring her passion for mental health & play therapy to life. Her favorite way to engage clients is by getting messy and letting the creative ideas and interactions flow! This can include anything from processing childhood experiences to including play therapy activities, even with adults! Ally is a licensed professional counselor and received her Master of Human Relations: Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma, where she also received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Non-Profit studies. Ally is so excited to have moved up to Bend from Oklahoma City with her husband about 5 months ago. Her previous community involvement included leadership and volunteerism with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and supporting local mental health non-profit organizations. Ally is looking forward to finding her fit in service of the Bend community over the next months!

“I have immensely enjoyed the community and networking opportunities found through Bend Emerging Talent. We have been blown away by the willingness of this community to include us in community gatherings, young professional organizations, and non-profit events. Taking the leap to move halfway across the country comes with its fears and challenges, however Bend Emerging Talent and the people within the Bend Chamber have made our time in Bend already so welcoming and fruitful,” says Ally.

Parker Randels is a dedicated healthcare professional with over half a decade of experience in strategic planning for large health systems, implementation of innovative, healthcare technologies, and management of Medicaid and Medicare programs across the United States. Parker is currently employed as a senior consultant for Guidehouse. He received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and both his MBA and MIT from the University of Oklahoma. He is a passionate believer in the collective of good humanity, and strives to serve his community in both his professional career and outside of it. Parker currently serves on the Central Oregon Health Council Housing Committee. In his free time, he enjoys training for Brazilian Jujutsu, hiking or skiing, and hanging out with his wife, Ally and their dog Heide!

“I of course appreciate the professional opportunities afforded by Bend Emerging Talent, however, my favorite part has been the absolutely wonderful people I have met through the organization. Everyone is so intentional and willing to share their time, experience, and passion. Within four months of coming to Bend, I’ve already met so many people through Bend ET who I know will be lifelong friends! To anyone who is on the fence about joining the organization, I would encourage you to take a leap of faith and come to one of the amazing events! You won’t regret it,” shares Parker.
