Congressional support for the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act accelerated during the August congressional recess, with the bill now backed by 280 bipartisan cosponsors in the U.S. House of Representatives and a filibuster-proof 61 in the U.S. Senate. Since August 1, 20 House members have signed on, an extraordinary groundswell of momentum while lawmakers were away from Washington, D.C.
