Marketing Consultant – Entry Level – Fulltime

We are Combined Communications, Inc. (“CCI”) a major Radio Broadcaster, Event Promoter, and Nationwide Programmatic Digital Ad Supplier. CCI has been headquartered in Central Oregon since 1988. We’re looking for (2) two fulltime, entry-level professionals to join our Central Oregon team. Our marketing consultants help clients grow their businesses using radio, digital, cause, and event-based marketing. We want to talk with you if you have the necessary skills and confidence to engage with advertisers, and help them reach their organizational goals. CCI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are looking for entry-level marketing consultants to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients. Responsibilities include; soliciting new business through prospecting and networking, managing and growing assigned accounts, identifying clients’ marketing goals, and developing and presenting customized solutions to meet those goals. Marketing consultants are executives, held accountable for achieving sales budgets and monitoring customer receivables. This accountability comes with great potential financial compensation.

Summary of essential job functions 1) Contact prospective customers to sell radio-ads, event sponsorship and programmatic advertising. 2) Maintain account lists and solicit new business. 3) Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and marketing proposals. 4) Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality service. 5) Investigate and resolve customer problems. 6) Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders and arranging promotional events. 7) Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts. 8) Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and customer events.

Minimum requirements: The successful candidate must possess exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills. They must be self-motivated, goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive. In addition, the right candidate must have: • High school diploma (preference given to those with secondary education). • Basic knowledge of MS office products, i.e., MS Word, Excel and Windows environment. • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and insurance. • Pass pre-employment drug screen, not to include THC.
