Bend Economic Development Advisory Board (BEDAB) Event Sponsorship Applications

The Bend Economic Development Advisory Board is thrilled to encourage the business community to submit applications for event sponsorship until Sep. 30, 2024. BEDAB currently has an annual budget of $9,000 that can be allocated through June 30, 2024 and we would love to hear from more folks about how these sponsorship dollars can support your business. More details about the sponsorship requirements below: 

The application asks event organizers to provide:

Basic information on the event including background, event goals, website, expected attendees and participants
A narrative explaining how the event helps the BEDAB meet either the goals outlined in their three-year Strategic Plan or how the event aligns with the BEDAB purpose set forth in Bend Code:

Advocate – Provide input into City policy and procedures from a private sector perspective.
Facilitate – Broker entrepreneurial support among existing community resources.
Market – Brand and guide marketing efforts of Bend as “Open for Business.”
Coordinate – Organize and oversee City resources applied to economic development.

*It is recommended that events focused primarily on fundraising for organizations or causes should not apply for this sponsorship.

The City of Bend is happy to share a survey with the business community to enhance our Supplier Diversity efforts that will help inform how we procure products and services from our local economy here in town. Please take a few minutes to complete our Supplier Diversity Survey by Sep. 30, 2024, which will contribute to the City’s efforts of supporting our diverse local business ecosystem.
