With less than 60 days until the November 5th General Election, candidates will begin to make a final push to educate and sway voters. The 2024 ballot will have Bend voters considering future City Councilors, State Representatives and a State Senator, and several statewide offices, including Attorney General, Treasurer and Secretary of State. Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, which includes Bend and much of Central Oregon, will also elect a Congresswoman.
The Bend Chamber is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse candidates, however we do engage in educational activities. In the coming weeks you’ll see communications with candidate responses to questionnaires specific to issues that impact the business community. Candidate questionnaires will also be available on our website to Chamber members and the general public. If you have specific questions you’d like included in the questionnaires, please email Sara Odendahl (sara@bendchamber.org) by Thursday, September 12th for consideration. And of course, make sure friends and family (and you!) are registered to vote to make your voice heard!
